It’s 5 O’clock somewhere. Let’s mix it up!
It doesn’t have to take forever to be good…

Ah! Love it! Love it! Love it! Video, recipe, technique and all! You look great Denise! And you’re so right about how easy it is, we all just forget about making yogurt! Hey, where’s Lenny? Is he still trying to open up that cocktail shaker?
This inspiring video has me wanting to make my Vnese yogurt again! I haven’t made that in years and it’s about time I get back to making it. When my brothers were small, my mom would save all the baby food jars and use those for our yogurt containers. I’ve never seen this yogurt maker before, it seems really handy!
That is inspiring! It looks simple too. I’m going to look into the yogurt maker at Sur La Table.
Thanks,
renee
I love the video! Thanks so much! I’ve had a yogurt maker for, ummm, nearly three years [blushing furiously], but I haven’t quite built up enough OCD to make a go of it. Now I think I’ll run to the kitchen and get it started!
My mother used to make yogurt in baby food jars too! WORC – were we twins separated at birth?
I love your video – it was informative, interesting and well put together. Yogurt is one of life’s simple treasures and making it at home may seem intimidating to many but you’re totally right on about how simple it is.
By the way, I have a very similar yogurt maker. I love the *set it and forget it* aspect of it.
hey! great video! I’m glad there are other foodies out there who also like making their own yogurt – what a delicious treat!
Absolutely love the video. I make yogurt quite a lot, great thing to do
Fun to see you in person!
Thanks for the tutorial–in the past I’ve just fermented mine in the oven with the light on and hoped that the temperature was right. Yes, I know better.
Ohh I should really try this. I spend too much money on Greek yogurt!
Very inspiring! Always meant to try making yogurt at home but wind up buying it all the time…imagine it tastes better home made.
hey guys!!! just got the package…can’t wait to try tonight!
Thank you for the simple technique. Love it! I am going out and buying the yogert maker as soon as possible. Looks yummy! Thank you thank you for all your inspiration on this web site. You are amazing.
Wow! It looks so simple, I think I could even try it. I can’t wait to try homemade yogurt.
Our family loves yogurt, and I love the idea of homemade yogurt, and now I can see that it is possible for me to do so with this machine, but what I really like is this video demo that shows how easy it is to make the homemade yogurt. Definitly going to look into this product.
I would love to make my own yogurt! We buy so much of it at the store, and it adds up. I’ve always heard it can be simple to make, but I’ve never had a recipe or guide before watching this. The demo was great, and I’ll keep this yogurt maker in mind!
Wow! And now I can make yogurt too! How exciting! Thanks for the insights!

I have two growing girls and this would make ‘growing’ them that much easier…..and better! I buy bulgarian yogurt made locally and would love to try this!
It IS expensive and this looks so easy and is definitely affordable. Thanks for the great how to video as well.
I used to eat homemade yogurt when I was a teenager (yeah, just a couple years ago! *grin*) and have been telling my son about it – this made me decide it was time to buy a yogurt maker and make it (particularly since we love Greek yogurt so much!) Thanks for the informative video, and the heads-up on a great yogurt-maker – I just ordered ours!
Just watched the video, guys – awesome! I’m so inspired to start making my own yogurt, right now I’m spending way too much money buying the stuff.
Excellent video! I am the creator of MakeYourOwnYogurt.com, which I think would be a nice companion to this. It’s a step-by-step tutorial, with photographic examples and printable PDF, which will have you making yogurt in no time at all. Here is a link:
