Last November Current Lifestyles and Clorox invited us to be part of a press trip at Kingsford University. We were honored and somewhat intrigued, “why us”? Chez Us is searching for the ultimate burger for our summer time grilling. We have been searching for two years and have yet to find it. We want you to help us with the Ultimate Burger Contest!!

Meaty beef short ribs are seasoned only with sea salt and cracked black pepper and then pan grilled until medium rare, over a very hot fire; end result tender, moist and very flavorful ribs. Served along side is a very un-traditional potato salad of baby red potatoes, fresh black truffles and a light rice wine vinaigrette.

Hungry? No food in the house? Don’t want to do a big grocery shop? Not take out again! This is an easy dinner to make in a snap. Hot Italian Sausage grilled to perfection and served on warm toasty ciabatta bread with caramelized onions, red peppers and fennel pollen.
